AutoCad Drafter

Our client, a consulting electrical engineering firm is seeking an experienced Drafter to join their team in Columbia, SC. Previous drafting experience preferred, but firm is willing to take on an entry level candidate. The ideal candidate would have interest in electrical design and have exposure to AutoCAD or Revit designdrafting programs. ResponsibilitiesPerform drafting work for projects.Assist engineers, project managers, designers, field staff and other team members as needed.Work with team members to collect design data.Conversion of design data into design documentsProject drawing setup and preparation Assisting with project drawingfile organization Project development from concept to complete design, with assistance from inhouse staffCoordination with other members of the design teamPositive attitude toward clients and project teamSelf-improvementgrowth - continuing education to maintain competence and improve expertiseWilling to work overtime as required to support project schedules SkillsQualificationsPrevious drafting experienceExposure to AutoCAD or Revit designdrafting programsInterest in electrical designKnowledge of computers, plotting and systems related to engineering designKnowledgeable of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
