Job Title: Financial Analyst, Mergers & AcquisitionsJob Summary:The Financial Analyst, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) role will support the M&A and Finance, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams and will play a critical role in evaluating and supporting the company's growth initiative through strategic acquisitions. This position will be responsible for evaluating car wash business acquisition opportunities, analyzing financial performance data, collaborating to build forecast models and supporting decision-making processes for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, providing critical insights to senior leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Work with complex financial models, assist in completing valuation and analytical modeling exercises that support strategic planning and decision making for M&A activities.• Conduct detailed financial analyses, including valuations, forecasts, cost-benefit assessments, budgeting and performance reviews of potential and existing investments.• Collaborate in the due diligence process, including review of seller documentation and financial processes, and efficient data analysis and documentation.• Analyze financial statements and review third-party quality of earnings analyses to assess profitability and identify risks.• Monitor post-acquisition performance and provide insights to senior leadership to optimize outcomes, align with strategic objectives, and continuously improve future decision making• Providing analytical support on cross-functional projects as requested• Gather and produce useful reports with critical information from meetings with various stakeholders • Prepare detailed reports, memorandums, presentations, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.• Work with project accounting team to provide support for GAAP valuation purposes. • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including financial advisors, legal counsel, and operational leaders to execute transactions.• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate analysis of acquisition deals. • Provide analytical support on cross-functional projects as requested• Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements:• Exceptional Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and financial modeling.• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and key financial metrics, including formulas and ratios used to analyze investment returns (e.g., SSG, NPV, IRR, ROI).• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior leadership.• Keen attention to detail.• Highly self-motivated and directed.• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.• If you are tasked to drive as a part of this role, then it is required that you have a clean driving record and a current Driver's License that is not suspended or expired.• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
