As the company scales operations and expands its global footprint, they are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.As COO, you will be at the helm of the company's manufacturing, supply chain, and operational strategy, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability. Working closely with the CEO, you will oversee production, procurement, and engineering operations while optimizing processes to meet the stringent demands of the space and defense sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership: Oversee all manufacturing and supply chain functions, ensuring seamless production and delivery of high-reliability electronics.Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability in line with company growth plans.Manufacturing Excellence: Drive world-class manufacturing processes, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced production methodologies.Supply Chain Optimization: Manage end-to-end supply chain logistics, ensuring resilience, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.Quality & Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry standards (AS9100, ITAR, ISO), ensuring product reliability for mission-critical applications.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, R&D, and sales teams to align operational capabilities with business objectives.Leadership & Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForIndustry Expertise: Proven experience in manufacturing complex electronics, avionics, or related high-reliability systems for space and defense.Leadership Experience: 10+ years in senior operational leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving operational improvements and scalability.Supply Chain & Manufacturing Mastery: Deep expertise in supply chain management, procurement strategies, and high-mix, low-volume production environments.Technical Acumen: Background in electronics, avionics, or advanced manufacturing, with a strong understanding of precision engineering and product lifecycles.Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with ITAR, AS9100, and other industry-specific standards.Strategic & Hands-On Approach: Ability to balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.Why Join?Be a key executive in a fast-growing, cutting-edge technology company.Drive innovation in an industry that impacts global security and space petitive executive compensation, benefits, and potential for equity participation.
