We believe in the power of work.GENERAL PURPOSE:The Tax Analyst reports to the Director of Tax and primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES:Support federal and state income tax returns compliance process and work paper preparationsUpdate and maintain tax calendar to ensure accurate and timely filingsSupport work paper preparations for income tax provisionResponds to notices and inquiries from various taxing authoritiesAssists with tax audits from various taxing authoritiesCollaborates with other departmentsteams on tax issues andor provides assistance on projects as requestedKeep up to date with tax changes and industry trendsAssist with account reconciliations for all above taxes and value added tax accounts (returns are prepared by external consultants)Prepare all tax funding requestsFollow internal controls and develop further compliance efficienciesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must have Masters of Tax or Masters of Accounting (with emphasis in Tax) degree and at least 2-5 years of relevant tax experienceCPA a plusProficiency in Excel - ability to create large workbooks, build formulas and pivot tables, and other projectsAbility to meet communicated schedules and deadlinesAdherence to policies, procedures and instructions Ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholdersImpellam Group and its brands are equal opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.Impellam Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
