Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Criteria Analyst for a large credit rating agency client in the Oldwick, NJ area. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining credit rating methodologies and criteria that guide the evaluation of creditworthiness for issuers, financial instruments, and other entities. You will collaborate with rating analysts, senior management, and other departments to ensure that the criteria align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the agency's rating philosophy.Development and Maintenance of Rating Criteria:Develop and continuously refine rating criteria and methodologies for various asset classes (corporate, sovereign, structured finance, public finance, etc.).Ensure that rating criteria are robust, consistent, and reflective of market trends, financial innovations, and evolving risk factors.Monitor industry developments and global regulatory changes, and integrate those into the agency's criteria framework.Collaboration with Rating Teams:Work closely with rating analysts to understand the application of existing criteria and assess their effectiveness in accurately reflecting credit risks.Provide guidance to rating analysts on the interpretation and application of rating criteria.Data Analysis and Research:Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess the impact of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes on credit rating methodologies.Conduct regular research to identify emerging risks, financial products, and sectors that may require the development of new criteria.Stakeholder Engagement:Present and explain rating methodologies to clients, regulators, and other stakeholders when necessary.Participate in industry forums, conferences, and discussions to stay informed of best practices and regulatory updates related to credit ratings.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare clear and comprehensive reports on changes to criteria and methodologies.Document and communicate rationale for any updates or revisions to rating methodologies to internal and external pliance and Regulatory Oversight:Ensure that rating criteria and methodologies comply with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and internal governance standards.Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments in the credit rating industry, ensuring the agency maintains best practices and adheres to industry standards.Desired Traits:5+ years' experience in Operations, Business Process Improvement, Business Analyst, Project Management, or similar role.Experience acting as the liaison for a PMO, Internal Strategy Group, andor IT departments to execute enterprise-wide projects.Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree a plus.Experience in the Credit Rating or Financial IndustryCompensation: $130,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
