Bernardo Fashions, a leader in the outerwear industry, is seeking an organized, dedicated, and thorough part-time Chargeback Analyst to research and dispute chargebacks. As a critically important member of our accounting team, you will help to ensure that transactions run smoothly and securely, working with the shipping team and the Account Receivable Specialist to maintain order and ease in the company's financial operations.Reports to ControllerMajor responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Understanding research on Chargebacks.Research and investigate customer chargebacks to determine validity and resolution requirementsSupervise the resolution of chargebacks, ensuring timely dispute filing, documentation, and reconciliation.Collaborate with internal departments to address chargeback root causes and implement preventative measures.Navigate customer portals and pull all chargeback details and submit for dispute.Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure compliance with chargeback related issues and resolve disputes including pricing, EDI errors, purchase order discrepancies, billing errors, returns, shortages, and shipping compliance finesMaintain accurate tracking records and monitor timelines of all chargebacks.Work closely with internal finance and cross functional teams to quickly resolve any inquires to ensure swift municate and escalate any delaysobstacles for chargeback resolutions disputes.Prioritize workflows for all aged claims, follow up, resolution, and repayment.Review weekly chargeback status reports with management to ensure compliance with vendor requirements and company policies.Identify and analyze any chargeback trends.Conduct weekly reporting on status of open claimsRequirements:Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience working in an Chargeback field.Experience working with Nordstrom, Macy's Marketplace, Shopify platform is a mustAttention to detail.Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.Strong working knowledge of A2000 is a MUST.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Work effectively under time pressure.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Excellent customer service skills.Plan, organize, and schedule own workload efficiently.Ability to apply technology to solve problems and improve processes.Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.2-3 days a week (starting with 3 days then reduce to 2 days a week depending on work volume)Hours - 9am-5pmSalary - $25,000-$30,000
