Roles & Responsibilities Investment Research & Due DiligenceConduct in-depth due diligence on private market opportunities, including private equity, private credit, real assetsreal estate, and hedge funds.Evaluate fund investments, co-investments, and secondary opportunities using both qualitative and quantitative methods.Help develop and maintain proprietary analytical models to assess investments and optimize portfolio construction.Prepare and present investment committee materials, including memos, performance analyses, and strategic reviews.Monitor and analyze ongoing investments, providing timely updates on performance, strategy, and industry trends.Portfolio Management & StrategyProvide actionable insights into portfolio construction, considering manager liquidity, target returns, and tax implications.Spearhead investment team presentations, memos, and thematic research.Stay informed of market developments, trends, and opportunities, proactively contributing to asset allocation dustry Engagement & ReportingBuild relationships within the investment community to source new opportunities and gather industry insights.Participate in select networking events and relevant conferences to expand the firm's reach.Coordinate with operational diligence, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of investment strategies.Contribute to periodic market updates and firm thought leadership pieces on the alternative investment landscape.Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced certifications (CFA, CAIA) or progress toward them are highly desirable.Experience:2-5 years of experience in investment research, with familiarity in private markets or alternative investments.Prior exposure or expertise in Real Estate, Private Equity, or Credit is strongly preferred.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools (e.g., PitchBook).Competencies:Strong investment acumen with excellent analytical abilities.Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.Values: Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Reports to: Senior Vice President of InvestmentsCOO Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, in-office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Remote flexibility may be available on Fridays.
