Project Manager (Construction-Entry Level)

If you are looking to grow your career with your Electrical Engineering degree, this is for you!Project Manager (Construction-Entry Level) Responsibilities:Manage the design and review of solar system drawings including electrical interconnection, modeling, and performance dataReview technical equipment specifications and conceptualdetailed design including analysis of load flow, voltage drop, arc flash and integration of protective relay systems and controlsProcure major electrical components and manage expectations with vendorsPrepare and review single lines, electrical block diagrams, power, and instrumentation plansAssess project structural considerations and interconnect issuesCoordinate various engineering related activities (studies, surveys, etc.)Review engineering work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, safety practices, technical specifications, and contractual requirementsReview technical portions of RFP and contract documentsAct as liaison with Project Management on matters relating to engineering progress, quality, scope issues on projects as well as interface with customers on technical questionsconcernsSupport the preparation of sales proposals and needs relative to quoting, design & follow upProject Manager (Construction-Entry Level) Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required1+ years experienceSolar or new construction project management experience preferredProficiency in understanding solar system design (Heliosocpe, AutoCAD, PVsyst)NABCEP Design Specialist Certification preferredKnowledge of Electric (NEC) and Fire codesCritical and innovative thinking; attention to detailExperience with various solar panels and invertersExperience preparing electrical engineering design packagesAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong writtenverbal communication skills If you are interested in joining a company that will invest in your future, and are passionate about solar, apply today!
