You will play a critical role in supporting project management, working closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that bids are competitive and meet client specifications. Your expertise will help guide project budgets, identify potential risks, and support cost-saving strategies throughout the pre-construction process.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for healthcare, commercial, and retail construction projects.Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documents to develop project scope and pricing.Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets.Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project cost without compromising quality.Review subcontractor bids and coordinate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing.Assist in project risk analysis and mitigation strategies during the pre-construction phase.Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.Ensure timely and accurate submission of bids and proposals.Participate in post-bid review and project turnover processes.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as an Estimator with a general contractor, with a focus on healthcare, commercial, or retail projects.Strong knowledge of construction processes, estimating software, and market trends.Proficiency in cost estimating tools and software (e.g., Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, etc.).Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).Benefits:Competitive salary ($90,000 - $125,000 based on experience).Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.If you are a dedicated and experienced Estimator with a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team!
