Private Credit Associate

Our client, a prominent private credit firm focused on strategic lending solutions, is seeking an Associate to join their team!Compensation: $120-200k base salary DOE + excellent benefitsPosition Overview:The Associate will support senior investment professionals in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing private credit investments. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a small, high-performing team and gain hands-on experience across the entire investment process, from origination to portfolio management.Responsibilities:Assist in the sourcing and screening of potential investment opportunities.Conduct financial modeling, including credit analysis, cash flow forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.Support the due diligence process, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and market research.Conduct industry-specific research to identify new investment opportunities and risks.Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for internal investment committees.Support senior team members in structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions.Monitor portfolio performance and track key financial and operational metrics.Assist in the preparation of regular reporting materials for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and senior management.Participate in the management and restructuring of existing investments, as needed.Engage in communication with clients, providing updates on portfolio performance and investment strategy.Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting private credit and lending markets.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.1-3+ years of experience working within private credit or 3+ years of experience working in a LevFin group. Strong experience writing investment committee memoranda and articulating credit strengthsweaknesses. Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, capital structure, and analyzing complex deal structures.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.Please submit your resume to apply!
