Electrical Senior Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Electrical)Location: Newark, NJOverview:A well-established commercial electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects across New Jersey. This role ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company objectives.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.Track project budgets, labor costs, and resource allocations.Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring milestone deadlines are met.Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Estimators to define project scope.Generate and present project reports and financial spreadsheets.Maintain consistent communication with project superintendents and conduct site visits.Act as a primary liaison with general contractors and construction managers.Identify process improvements and recommend solutions based on project needs.Evaluate and process project change orders, including estimating and pricing adjustments.Analyze project plans and construction documents to identify value engineering opportunities.Prepare billing documentation and coordinate with accounting teams.Address and resolve client concerns effectively.Participate in project meetings and ensure alignment with company policies and safety protocols.Travel frequently to various project sites as required.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 5+ years of experience in high-volume commercial electrical contracting.Expertise in MV substation and distribution, with preferred experience in healthcaredata centers.Strong ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with minimal supervision.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Regular and reliable onsite presence is essential.
