The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead and oversee the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for the shared services corporate functions. This role is responsible for developing financial models, forecasts, and budgets, while providing strategic insights to guide decision-making. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership to assess financial performance, identify key business drivers, and drive financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of business operations to support growth and financial health. This position requires excellent communication, analytical abilities, and experience in financial planning within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key AccountabilitiesLead the development of annual budgets, quarterly, monthly weekly forecasts, and long-term financial plans ensuring budgets are aligned with business strategies and objectives.Manage the process of financial forecasting, adjusting for business changes, and ensuring accurate projections.Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders leveraging analytics to drive recommendations decision making.Conduct detailed variance analysis between actual performance and budgetforecast, providing explanations and recommendations for improvements.Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions where necessary.Act as a key partner to department heads and senior management, providing financial insights to guide business decisions.Lead and develop the FP&A team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and growth.Nature and ScopeProblems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation.Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. May set or change plansgoals within respective department or area.May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level.Work EnvironmentLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.Education and ExperienceTypically requires BSBA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a managementsupervisory capacity.
