Associate Financial PlannerThree Oaks Wealth is seeking a stellar associate financial planner! We are a rapidly growing financial planning firm focused on helping our clients reach the best financial destination for them. We have offices in Sacramento and Portland, OR, and are adding to the staff in Sacramento.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Financial Planner position contributes to the firm's growth by ensuring exceptional service for both existing clients and prospects. This role demonstrates competency in investment and planning practices to develop financial plans and partner with advisors and team members to address the specific needs and service issues of clients, as well as acting as relationship manager for less complex clients.Candidates for this position will be expected to grow with the role. There is substantial opportunity for advancement as skills, expertise and responsibility grow over time.Supporting the Financial Planning & Investment ProcessesCoordinate financial plan development, including initial financial plan data entry, and working with lead planners to develop recommendationsCreate quarterly andor annual client summaries of net worth, estate distribution, insurance, income tax, cash flow projections, and investmentsMonitor client financial plan and advise on changes that are necessaryPlace trades as directed by supervisor coordinate with investment management team to ensure execution of investment strategyAdhere to all compliancerisk procedures, follow corporate and industry protocols, and protect the interest of the client and the firm at all timesPreparing for and Attending Client MeetingsSupport financial planners with client services, including preparation of well-polished documentation and presentation materials for meetingsSupport preparation for client meetings, including preparing agendas and client meeting materialsAttend and participate in meetings with prospects, new and existing clientsRecord meeting notes on topics covered, changes in client's needs, and action itemsSummarize meetings and schedule action items in contact management softwareComplete all action items utilizing firm processes and proceduresAct as Relationship Manager & Deliver Exceptional Client ServiceAct as primary point of contact and planner for less complex clients under the direction of a senior plannerWork in conjunction with the lead planner to deliver services to clientsWork with planners and team to ensure all actions for clients are tracked and completedLead initiatives focused on value-add content delivered to clients such as content marketingCommunicate and follow up regularly with clients about changes to their accountsDevelop strong relationships and rapport with clientsCompensationFull-time exempt statusStarting at $65,000Bonus potential401(k) planPersonal development budgetGroup life, short term and long term disability coverageHealth reimbursement planExperience, Skills and Core CompetenciesBachelor's degree1-3 years' financial planning, wealth management, or financial services experience requiredProgress toward CFP® designation preferredCompetency in investment and financial planning with proficient technical capabilitiesAdvanced level computer skills; thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office imperative, familiarity with eMoney software preferredExceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsA passion to help clients achieve their goals, and a desire to strengthen alliance partnerships in order to facilitate this workExhibits a strong desire to develop personal and professional skills, together with knowledge and understanding of investment philosophies and planning practicesStrong analytical, organizational, presentation, and computer skillsQualitiesWarm, likeable, outgoing personalityExceptional integrity and accountabilityDriven & committed to excellenceProactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take direct feedback and constructive criticism, as well as deliver direct feedback and constructive criticism when necessaryLocationWe are located at 2377 Gold Meadow Way, Gold River, CA 95670.
