Location: Cherry Hill, NJMust live in North Jersey : Hunterdon, Somerset, Unon, Maybe Morris county.Schedule:ENERGY ENGINEER - Energy Efficiency & Renewables Location: Cherry Hill, NJ Description. Our projects include LED lighting, HVAC energy efficiency projects, on-site generation and other efficiency projects based on client needs Projects will include Lighting, HVAC, Solar, and anything mechanical. They range from $1.5M-$3M size projects to date. The Sr. Energy Engineer will:Work with sales to engage the customer to identify project budget and requirements in order to establish design criteria which best suit the customer's needs.Coordinate visits to customer project sites to investigate existing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems. Having the ability to do a walk through and identify envelope opportunities.Perform energy audits and document many variables of energy performance information, utility data, facility infrastructure drawings and municate with installations team the specific metrics of a project to refine an executable price and competitive design solution that satisfies all customer municate effectively with sales the intricacies of the design and assist them with any technical questions the customer might inquire about.Provide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and presentations.Identify opportunities for new Energy Conservations Measures (ECMs) as well as ways to improve on existing ECMs.Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships.Create presentations for their potential client. Having the ability to take what engineers are saying and put in into terms that a client can understand is key.Must have an understanding of the utilities incentive programs and how they can be used. Requirements:Hold a BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent four-year technical degree. (Note: non-degree equivalent experience may be considered)A minimum of 5 Years of experience in the field of Energy Efficiency projects, Mechanical Engineering (HVAC), or similar Contracting is required.Understanding of ASHRAE standards and experience completing ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 audits (or similar investment grade energy audits).Demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy savings and implement projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, VFDs, HVAC retrofit, steam systems, building controls, distributed generation, and lighting.Knowledge of measurement and verification (M&V) and IPMVP is desired.Experience with building automation systems (BAS) is a plus.Relevant energy industry certifications (e.g. CEM, CEA, CMVP, etc) will be highly regarded.Demonstrated experience developing energy calculations with Microsoft Excel is required.Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication and technical presentation skills.P.E. certification will be considered, though it is not mandatory.
