We are looking for a new Assistant Director of Program Operations to support the Soulful Synergy team on a local construction training program in New Rochelle. This program is designed to equip individuals with the skills and certifications needed to compete effectively for opportunities arising from the city's construction development boom. The program provides certifications, hands-on training, and job placement support while collaborating with a network of partners to offer additional supportive services to participants.Soulful Synergy is a full-service, socially conscious consulting company that takes a multifaceted approach to sustainability, workforce, and community development. Our mission is to empower individuals, organizations, and communities to thrive by connecting them with opportunities that maximize the resources available to them.Overview: The Assistant Director of Program Operations will oversee all aspects of vocational training for a New Rochelle construction training program and coordinate with other staff members to ensure the smooth flow of program activities. They will also engage with the New Rochelle community to establish and manage partnerships for recruiting and enrolling participants, as well as provide wraparound services and employment placement support for those enrolled.Primary deliverables for this position include assisting the Program Director with reporting to the program funder and managing data collection from program participants. To succeed in this role, candidates should be able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks, confidently interact with participants and community stakeholders, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ideal candidates would have prior experience managing the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) process in Westchester.Responsibilities:Support managing all programmatic aspects, such as scheduling, outreach and recruitment, curriculum delivery, and follow-up.Work with instructors and the Intake Coordinator to ensure key participant data is captured in a timely manner according to procedure. Manage Office Procurement, ordering supplies, materials, and other items necessary to the successful operation of programs.Follow up with participants following lapses in attendance and coordinate with the Case Manager to support participants with wraparound services when necessary.Manage Office space and coordinate with external stakeholders on scheduling events, deliveries, inspections, etc. Assist the Program Director with reporting on key deliverables, including the number of participants who received vocational training (both completers and non-completers) and the number of participants who received soft skills training.Work with the Program Director to evaluate successes and areas for improvement regarding program delivery, outreach, and recruitment.Manage the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) process for the New Rochelle Forward space to ensure Soulful Synergy's ETPL offerings are hosted and conducted at the facility.Provide oversight for ETPL-related documentation and ensure compliance with state and local requirements.Collaborate with Westchester's ETPL administrators to streamline approvals and address any issues related to program submissions or updates.Work with other members of the program team to make connections within the community for supportive services, employment opportunities, etc.Become familiarized with funding sources and stakeholders pivotal to the program's ecosystem, including the ETPL.Work with the Program Director to establish processes and systems flow.Other duties and special projects as assigned.Requirements:Alignment with Soulful Synergy's values, including a commitment to economic and racial justice, building sustainable communities, and the empowerment of individuals.5+ years of experience in Program Management required.Experience with Westchester's ETPL processing strongly preferred.Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred; HSE with commensurate experience accepted.Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral).Computer skills, including MS Office, Word, Zoom, and Google fortable with data entry.Bilingual SpanishEnglish is a bonus.Salesforce experience strongly preferred.This position requires attendance on-site in a hybrid schedule.Salary: $78,000Benefits and Time Off:At our company, we believe in supporting our employees both in and out of the workplace.
