This technology is OOfoamâ„¢.As Key Account Manager for Family Footwear and Department Stores, your primary function is to establish key account sales plans, create account specific merchandise plans, coordinate in-store and out of home marketing strategies and tactics, manage the orderbook, and work with the buying teams within your accounts to grow the OOFOS brand and achieve specified annual financial targets. You will serve as the voice of the Family Footwear and Department store channels, helping to build distribution, marketing, product and operational strategies to grow the OOFOS brand within these channels.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Lead the development of sales, distribution, and customer relations management strategies for the designated key accounts within the Family Footwear and Department Store trade channels.Drive revenue and profitability through in-depth wholesaler knowledge, account and margin analysis, detailed progress reviews and creative thinking.Lead the development of the key account sales plans including door specific goals and in-store initiatives.Work with internal and external resources to develop and manage the brand's go-to-market strategies, programs and assets specifically targeting key accounts in the Family Footwear and Department Store trade channels.Lead all seasonal launch meetings with the designated key accounts.Conduct weekly data reviews to ensure that the business is being managed from a sell-through and inventory management perspective.Lead Quarterly Business Review meetings with key leaders of designated key accounts.Lead internal and external teams in the development of tools that support sales and distribution strategies and programs to meet or exceed established sales plans for designated key accounts.Deliver feedback to all members of the team on an ongoing basis to ensure clarity of performance against objectives throughout the year.Collaborate with the Brand's Marketing team to help develop and execute sales and marketing programs to drive sales within Family Footwear and Department municate on an ongoing basis with the Product, Merchandising and Finance Teams, as to the realities of performance and opportunities compared to industry and competition.Collaborate with the brand's product creation team to develop product assortment and comprehensive sales programs and materials to support the specific key account needs by channel.Lead the development and execution of a plan to measure the effectiveness of the brand's sales programs and investments consistently and objectively within the designated key accounts.Schedule and execute weekly 1:1 meeting with the Head of Sales.KPIs:Key account sales and profitability goals, as defined by the Head of Sales.Drive sell-in and sell-through at all key account locations.Visit all key accounts once per quarter.Schedule and execute Quarterly Business Reviews with each key account.Meet strategic sales goals as determined and assigned by Head of Sales.LeadershipCultural Responsibilities:Cultural fit is crucial - strong desire to make people feel better and live our brand ethos is a mustContribute to a positive, can-do attitudeSeek growth and learning opportunitiesMaintain a high level of personal responsibility and ownershipUse effective communication and listening skillsAbility to work well in a team environment under tight deadlinesAbility to meet or exceed sales goalsProven closing skillsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.5 - 8 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within footwear, apparel, or consumer goods.Strong experience in working with retailers on a cooperative basis, beyond simply "selling" product into the wholesale channel.Experience in the Family Footwear and Department Store channel.The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a high comfort level with public speaking and presenting.The ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution; and a willingness to step in to get the job done.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)A track record of effectively working to a budget and measuring results.Team-oriented, but independently driven to improve.Product knowledge and confident presentation skills.Strong negotiation ability.Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel as needed for account meetings and events.This is a remote position and covers the Family Footwear and Department Store channel.
