As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent to join their dynamic team.Position Overview:The Assistant Construction Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects, primarily in the commercial and field building sectors. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional with a solid understanding of construction processes and a passion for delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Superintendent with managing day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed according to plan, on time, and within budget.Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and labor crews, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project specifications.Support in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress and addressing delays or issues that may arise.Conduct site inspections and walk-throughs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and applicable building codes.Monitor material procurement and ensure timely delivery to keep the project on schedule.Help enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation for project status updates.Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise on site.Assist in the coordination of project meetings and client communication.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on commercial and field building projects.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.Previous experience in a superintendent or assistant superintendent role is a plus.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.Proven track record of working with subcontractors, suppliers, and other construction team members.OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred, but not required.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Why Join Our Client:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a thriving company.A supportive, collaborative work environment where you will be valued.Exposure to a wide range of exciting, large-scale construction projects.Health, dental, and vision insurance options.401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
