Ops SpecialistLocation: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)Contract: 4 months with possible extensionJOB DESCRIPTION:POSITION SUMMARY:A Fund Transfer Product Processing Specialist is an entry level position responsible for processing various clients' capstock, expenses, and other cash transactions. In addition, the specialist is responsible for cash clearing account reconciliations, cash breaks resolution, Collateral Alts transactions, and timely inquiry responses.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Client Servicing and Inquiry ResponseAccurately process clients' cash transactions. These include capstock, expenses, wires, book transfers, expects, and foreign exchangeMeet all client deliverables in accordance with Funds Transfer procedures and controls. Research and resolve all client cash inquiries in accordance with Funds Transfer procedures and controls.Ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external clients.Promptly escalate sensitiverisk issues to managementAssist coworkers when neededProcess Collateral, Alts, and blocked account transactions2. Technology ProductivityInnovationContinually cross-train with other colleagues to assist with coverage during absences.Enhance quality and efficiency by identifying workflow improvements.Efficiently utilize BBH systems and toolscash products to maximize productivity.3. Global CustodyKeep aware of market changes and impact on cash processessettlements.Understand and monitor cash restrictions. Monitor queues throughout the day for transactions.Maintain a solid understanding of cash practices and deadlines by market4. Process ImprovementHelp to enhance the productivity of the unitChallenge all processes, procedures, and practices. Specialists should question inefficient processes and make recommendations to their supervisor on how to improve the process.
