We're looking to hire a Associate Content Manager (E-Commerce) for content migration for a Fortune 500 retail client client. Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.My direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Content team to migratecreate new website product pages to a new e-commerce Content Management System (CMS). This is a 6 - month contract + extension.This is a 6 - month contract + extension. The team is located in San Bruno, CA, and the role is on-site 2-days per week. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.Associate Content Manager (E-Commerce) Responsibilities:Strategically merchandise products across the website, including category pages, landing pages, search results, and promotional placements, to maximize visibility and conversion rates. This includes optimizing product imagery, descriptions, and attributes.Utilize the CMS to create, edit, and manage website content related to product merchandising, including banners, promotional offers, landing pages, and informational pages.Support the execution of online marketing campaigns by ensuring proper product placement, promotional offers, and landing page optimization.Analyze website traffic, sales data, and other relevant metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in merchandising strategies. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.Conduct AB testing on various merchandising elements, such as product placement, imagery, and copy, to optimize conversion rates and improve the customer experience.Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize product listings and category pages for relevant keywords to improve organic search visibility.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and web development, to ensure seamless execution of merchandising strategies.Monitor competitor websites and analyze their merchandising strategies to identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation.Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure product availability and optimize inventory levels for featured products.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the website's user experience by providing feedback and recommendations based on data analysis and user behavior.Associate Content Manager (E-Commerce) Requirements:2+ years of experience in Site Merchandising eCommerce OperationsProject ManagementContent Management and OptimizationThis role requires a strong understanding of online merchandising principles, data analysis, and content management systems (CMS).The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with a passion for creating engaging and effective online shopping experiences that drive sales and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).Strong understanding of online merchandising principles and best practices.Proficiency in data analysis toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1Perks & Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401k ProgramCommuter BenefiteLearningEducation ReimbursementOngoing Training & Development*To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.To learn more about this Associate Content Manager (E-Commerce) opportunity, apply now.
