Kitchen + Kocktails is looking for a Front of House Manager with deep Chicago ties for our newest upscale Southern Comfort restaurant in Chicago. Primary responsibilities will include:· Bar· Hiring & Managing Staff· Training & Professional Development· Finance - Sales vs Cost ExpensesJob Duties· Deliver revenues and profits by developing, marketing, financing, and providing appealing restaurant service.· Ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by demonstrating a "Do Whatever It Takes" attitude.· Utilize leadership skills and motivates employees to ensure cost control and labor management.· Inspect establishment and observe workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and liquor regulations.· Ensure paperwork accuracy, including daily sales summary reports, petty cash reimbursement forms, and payroll records.· Ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs and sales goals.· Ensure high level of communication with OwnersStakeholders.· Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting evaluations and investigating any complaints. Initiate corrective action as required.· Ensure the security and safety of the restaurant and its guests and associates.· Lead special projects as directed by the Owners.· Any other duties deemed necessary.Preferred SkillsCost Accounting, Developing Budgets, Financial Planning and Strategy, Decision Making, Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, Verbal Communication, Customer Focus, Management Proficiency, Managing Profitability, Quality FocusPreferred Qualities· 5+ years of related experience· Leader with strong work ethic· Ability to lead 20 - 90 Team Members in pursuit of excellence· Highly organized· Self-motivated· Goal Driven Sales Driven· Customer service-oriented· Fair, firm and consistent· Hours: 55+- per week· Daily Attendance Required - * No Remote Work Applicable *Physical Requirements· Walking for 8 hrs or more for duration of shift· Standing for 8 hrs or more for duration of shift· Reaching above head, reaching below waistline and for things on ground level for 8hrs or more for duration of shift· Stooping, squatting, bending at waist level for 8 hrs or more for duration of shift· Lifting (50 lbs. minimum) repeatedly for 8 hrs or more for the duration of shift· Carrying (50 lbs. minimum) repeatedly for 8 hrs or more for the duration of shift· Talking 8 hrs or more for duration of shift, and sitting periodicallyKitchen + Kocktails HallmarksPositivityAn energetic and smiling team is a must.
