Sr. Financial Analyst

The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role in preparing monthly and quarterly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, management of intercompany balances, invoicing intercompany billings, and ad hoc projects. This is a position with the ability to learn and gain experience in the business with the potential to expand into additional roles andor responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesUtilize accounting knowledge to transact journal entries, reconcile assigned accounts, analyze and resolve discrepancies, assist in preparing the monthly financial statements, and assist in the monthly accounting close and the annual audit.Historical financial analysis and reportingAssist in the development of budgets and forecasts by providing accurate cost information.Collaborate management team to reconcile physical inventory counts with financial records.Prepare monthlyquarterly customer rebate payments and supporting schedules and work with customers to resolve disputes.Prepare monthly manufacturer's representative commission payments.Partner with HR to ensure the accurate and timely processing and payment of payroll, benefits and tax filingsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or AccountingFive (5) years of experience in general accounting with a strong background with multiple entities (intercompany accounting), AP, AR.Advanced computer skills including advanced spreadsheet functions (e.g. Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas)Strong quantitative financial skillsExperience with intercompany accountingHigh degree of general accounting knowledge and application of that knowledgeProficiency in various ERP systems, Net Suite is strongly preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Some key advantages of working at Lakeside include: career opportunities in diverse areas, a highly competitive benefits package, including a generous 401(K) plan, profit sharing, bonus plan generous paid time off, and an educational assistance program offering up to $5250.00 a year.
