Welding Engineer

About the Company - Welding Engineer needed for local manufacturing company. Degree in Welding, Metallurgy or related field required.About the Role - Duties include developing welding procedures, providing support to other departments, participate in root cause investigations, technical support, audit suppliers, troubleshoot welding issues, maintain welder's qualifications, work directly with lab for development, communicate with customers etc.Responsibilities -5+ years of welding experience is preferred.Must have working knowledge of ASME BPVC section VIII, Division 1 and Section IX and AWS D1-1.Knowledgeable of strength of materials and perform basic strength calculations.Prefer to be AWS Certified Welding Inspector, AWS Certified Welding Engineer. Qualifications - Degree Required
