Senior Process Engineer

Senior Process Engineer: Geothermal Power Plant This position offers 60% equity and a 20% bonus. The company is a thermal energy company that is fully funded and has secured long-germ government pensation: $150,000-$170,000 + 60% equity + 20% bonus. ScheduleLocation: Hybrid (Downtown Houston) with some travel to field locations and other company sites. Placement: Direct HireFull Time Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical). 5+ years of process engineering experience, including 5+ years of air-cooled condensersexperience. Proficiency in plant monitoring and modeling software (Aspen, HYSYS, Pro II, ProMax, etc.). Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings (P&ID, PFD, HMB) and ensure compliance with codes and standards. Expertise in CFD analysis software and pipeline or pump system design. Duties & Responsibilities: Lead design, optimization, and troubleshooting of air-cooled condenser systems for geothermal power plants. Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment specifications, and heat and mass balance calculations. Perform thermodynamic and hydraulic analyses to optimize system performance. Manage data and deliver detailed design documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, material balances, etc.). Collaborate with suppliers to optimize facility designs and incorporate innovative technologies. Conduct risk assessments, process hazard analyses (PHA), and recommend safety improvements. Support commissioning, performance testing, and start-up of new or modified facilities.
