We have a full time opening for a Facilities Coordinator with experience working in a corporate environment. This person will oversee a maintenance worker and will report to the Director of IT Operations. The candidate would assist professional and administrative staff with the highest level of customer care, while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude. We are looking for someone who can be self directing, and enjoys learning and collaborating. This is a unique opportunity to join a premier boutique investment bank headquartered in NYC. Candidate should have a thorough understanding of general maintenance and repair work, inventory control, and can work in a fast paced, pressured environment, with the ability to gracefully adapt. Responsibilities Vendor and Contract ManagementMaintain maintenance logsInventory control of supplies, filters, and spare partsCarry out routine facilities and maintenance inspections and ensure a proactive approach to resolving issuesCopier and Printer maintenance including copier calibration, meter readings, and tonerpaper replacementAnalyze BMS reports and identify problematic areas for improvementLiaise with the building with regard to our Fire Safety planManagement of office security and lighting control systemsFacilities related duties such as HVAC maintenance, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, trash breakdown and removal, cleaning, and disinfecting the office as needed Qualifications Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.Must be able to lift, move, and install equipment as neededAbility to work off hours as requiredKnowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsWillingness to cross-train for other job functions around the office as needed
