Pay Information $2,930 to $3,211 per week About The Position Job Description & Requirements Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D Pay Rate: $2930.41 - $3210.98 Cath Lab Tech/ VIT needed asap Cardiovascular Intervention includes the specialties of Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Neurology, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology. The candidate for this position will be trained in all of these specialtiesSchedule - Day shift with 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month.Verify patient identification. Verify presence of appropriate signed informed procedural consent. Identify allergies and history of contrast reaction prior to any procedure, using patient records and by questioning package integrity and expiration date of sterile supplies. Verify the type, concentration, amount, and expiration date of medications. Prepare equipment for and record vital signs, assess distal pulses pre and post procedure. Participate in the pre-procedural time-out activity.Prepare the access site(s) to include the required sterile drapes and covers, provide for patient comfort and cooperation by familiarizing the patient with the equipment and the examination.
