Compliance Associate

Global investment management firm is seeking a Compliance Associate to join their dynamic team in the Miami office.They are working on-site 5 days a week. Requirements:Bachelor's Degree from an accredit university and in good academic standing, JD is a plus5 years compliance experience at a hedge fund or investment managerSuperior verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Form ADV; a solid understanding of regulatoryself-regulatory agencies (e.g., SEC, CFTC, NFA) and the requirements of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 preferredDetail oriented; critical thinker, demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of workEntrepreneurial inclination; ability to work self-sufficiently and act as a project managerHighly motivated, proactive, results-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; strong sense of urgencyExperience in working with different technology applications such as MS PowerPoint, Excel VBA Macros, Tableau, any other relevant data analytics tools preferredGood team player with a strong willingness to participate and help othersExperience in a compliance position at a registered investment advisor preferredBroad product and financial services industry knowledge
