Title: Civil Project ManagerLocation: Boston, MA (Hybrid 3 in office, 2 WFH)Starting Pay: Up to 110k depending on experienceDirect HireThe Civil Project Manager is responsible for proposal preparation and development of scope, schedule, and budget by coordinating with technical groups and market staff. Tracking project deliverables and reporting back to Project Managers in a timely fashion while helping coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion. Required:Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredMinimum of 3 years of related engineering experienceProject management experience preferredAbility to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical taskDemonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environmentProficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Understands QAQC proceduresEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiencesDesire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staffProficiency with Microsoft Office software requiredParticipation in a professional engineering societyorganization preferredJob order details: There is a specific need for an assistant Project Manager in the commercial & institutional land development Team in either the Boston, MA office (35 - all disciplines) or Norwell, MA (35 - all disciplines) (25 miles SE of Boston). They are specifically wanting to add a junior civil engineer, with 4-5 years, maybe up to 7 years tops. Somebody who has the experience of a civil site engineer and has some project management experience. Civil 3D is not required but a bonus. Work will involve a variety, of commercial, municipal, institutional and mixed-use projects in the Boston area. Job Responsibilities:The Assistant PM plans and implements projects including proposal preparation and development of scope, schedule, and budget by coordinating with other technical groups and market staff.The professional in this role addresses client's needs and issues that arise during the project.Additionally, the Assistant PM consults with and gathers information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc., as well as facilitates communications between office and field staff.This individual is a self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and is adaptable and calm under pressure.
