Preconstruction Manager - Interior Renovations

Job Overview:A leading general contractor in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction efforts for commercial renovation and interior projects. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing bid proposals, and collaborating with project teams to ensure competitive pricing and profitability. Key Responsibilities:Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial renovation and interior projects, considering labor, materials, and equipment costs.Bid Coordination: Review RFPs, analyze bid proposals, and manage the bidding process to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.Subcontractor & Vendor Relations: Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.Project Budgeting: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to establish realistic project budgets and ensure financial feasibility.Software Utilization: Utilize estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage, Bluebeam, or OST) to streamline bid preparation and cost tracking.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.Experience: 7+ years of estimating experience in commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and interior projects.Software Proficiency: Experience with estimating software such as ProEst, Sage, OST, Bluebeam, or similar tools.Benefits & Compensation:Competitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match
