This is a full-time position with benefits. Knowledge of building materials and a minimum of 5 years industry experience is required. Must be proficient in takeoff's and blueprint reading. Essential Functions:#1 priority is to ensure customer satisfaction while never compromising safetyBuilding material sales to professional builders, remodelers, and serious do-it-yourselfers.Develop and attain sales and margin goalsExpand customer baseExpand sales within current customer baseComplete frequent on-site job inspectionsMaintain company vehicleCoordinate deliveriesMaintain appropriate recordsProvide accurate, timely quotationsCommunicate clearly, accurately, and effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliersPerform any special assignmentprojects as required by the contractor sales manager, general managerEducationExperience:High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum 5 years' industry experience Proficient in takeoff's and blueprint readingRequirementsAbilities:Valid driver's licenseAdvanced estimating and blueprint reading skillsStrong communication skillsSelf-motivationAbility to stand and sit for long periods of timeAbility to routinely lift, carry, and move 40 lbs.Ability to coordinate as well as work in a teamAbility to learn in-house software
