TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Pasadena, Texas, 77504 Pay Information $2,032 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with CV-open heart procedures, Ortho, general, and gyn surgeries Job Description: - Work in an operating room setting with 10 ORs, alongside a team of 75 staff members. - Collaborate with day shift staff, including 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 7-9 Registered Nurses (RNs), 7-9 Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs), 4-5 First Assistants (FAs), 3-4 OR Aides, and 2 Anesthesia Technicians. - Handle a patient ratio of 1:1 in surgery settings. - Utilize equipment including Stryker towers, robotic towers, and Neptune suctioning systems. - Document patient care in the Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) system. - Perform a range of procedures, including cardiovascular, orthopedic, general, gynecological, podiatry, ENT, bariatric, robotic, and cystoscopy surgeries. - Exhibit professionalism, flexibility, and a strong work ethic to suit the dynamic OR environment. - Attend daily huddles at 06:45. - Participate in on-call rotations, which may include CV call every other week to every third week, or general call six times every four weeks, with a mix of weekend and weeknight shifts. - Dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
