TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified LaborDelivery RN in Houston, Texas, 77090 Pay Information $1,934 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery experience - OR circulator experience Job Description: - Provide care in a Labor and Delivery unit with 10 beds and a team of 65 staff members. - Work under different shift roles, such as Charge RN, scrub technician, and unit secretary, adjusting patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. - Operate equipment including GE fetal monitors, Neptune, Panda Warmers, scales, and lights. - Utilize EMR systems: Centricity Perinatal (CPN) and Meditech. - Perform typical procedures such as vaginal births, C-sections, titration of oxytocin and magnesium sulfate, and immediate care of newborns. - Demonstrate a team-player mindset and willingness to assist wherever needed. - Work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule. - Comply with dress code requiring royal blue scrubs. - Familiarize yourself with unit guidelines and policies which are available for reference. 26769804EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
