Job Overview - Financial Controller (Real Estate):Step into a leadership role with our client as a Financial Controller in Philadelphia, PA. In this in-office position, you will oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate with senior leadership, including presenting to the CEO as needed. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your expertise in real estate accounting and management to drive operational excellence and contribute to organizational pensation: $140,000 - $150,000yearLocation: Philadelphia, PASchedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)Responsibilities as the Financial Controller (Real Estate):Accounting Oversight: Manage daily operations, including billing, accounts receivablepayable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting.Records Management: Maintain books, capital accounts, registered entities, and formation documents.Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for pliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.Collaboration: Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including the CEO.Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor the accounting team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth.Qualifications for the Financial Controller (Real Estate):Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Experience: 7-20 years of experience as a Controller, preferably in real estate, with demonstrated management expertise.Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAGE 300 and strong knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and other accounting dustry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of real estate accounting practices, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.Leadership Attributes: Proven ability to manage all aspects of accounting operations and confidently present financial data to senior leadership, including the CEO.Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
