About the Role: Estimator - specialized in Process PipingLocation - Fountain Valley and or Oceanside, CAResponsibilities: Oversee all phases of the estimating and bidding processes, including conducting on-screen takeoffs for various large and intricate projects.Participate in project bid meetings and site pile bid proposal documents, which may include a proposal letter, customer-specific bid forms, and necessary bid bonds.Review the scope of new project contracts.Price any change bulletins issued for ongoing projects as required.Collaborate with the HVAC team on combined projects and pursuits as needed.Assist in developing project cost budgets and a Schedule of Values for new project kick-offs.Undertake additional tasks as assigned.Required Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience in process and piping estimation is preferred.Proficient in preparing Design-Build, Design-Assist, and Plans & Specs estimates, as well as conceptual budgets.Knowledgeable in various estimating software and on-screen programs, with a preference for Trimble AutoBid.Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.Experience in performing process and piping take-offs across different industrial buildings, particularly Biomedical Facilities and Laboratories.Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills for value engineering.Excellent written and verbal communication fortable interacting with professionals at all levels, both internally and externally.A team player who aligns with the company's core values of Family.
