Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming

TekPro is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with CNC 4-5 Axis programming expertise to join a leading high-precision component manufacturer serving the aerospace and automotive industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a precision machining environment and has 5-Axis Milling Experience in Mastercam.Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machining centers, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality.Engineer machining process from beginning to end starting with work holding selectiondesign then on to CAM programming and simulation.Working with QC department on inspection process and supporting shop floor personnel during part launch.Requirements:Highly proficient using Mastercam for simultaneous 5 axis milling.Extensive experience designing complex workholding for challenging parts.Highly knowledgeable on modern cutting tool and toolholding systems.Strong capability with Blueprint reading GD&THard metal ExperienceCAMCAM Skills (Mastercam and Solidworks preferred)MillTurn experience a plusQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within a CNC machining environment.Proficiency in CADCAM software (Mastercam)Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and precision machining processes.Experience with aerospace and automotive industry standards is preferred but now requiredFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?A heavily sought after employer with a great culture and excellent benefits including a 6% 401k match and BCBS PPO health plan
