About: Hamilton Mayer is working closely with a $2 Billion revenue general contractor ranked highly in the ENR listings. They are known to have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors in the US. They're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team for a large-scale advanced manufacturing facility project that's being built in Phoenix, Arizona. Insight:This exciting project involves the construction of a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing facility, requiring a strong understanding of complex electrical systems and project management expertise.Job Summary:The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of the electrical scope of this significant project. This includes managing all aspects of the electrical work, from preconstruction planning and design coordination to on-site execution, quality control, and closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing similar projects, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and be committed to delivering projects on time and within budget.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the electrical project team, including subcontractors and vendors.Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, budget, and resource plan for the electrical scope.Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.Coordinate with other project disciplines, including mechanical, structural, and architectural teams.Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.Manage project risks and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.Monitor project progress, track costs, and report regularly to senior management.Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.Manage change orders and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Mentor and develop junior project team members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.Must have experience working for a General Contractor; subcontractor experience will not be considered.Ability to manage complex electrical projects from start to finish.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pensation:$130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience, + attractive benefits package.
