Strategy Lead - Procurement Value Plan

Location: Whippany NJ- HybridJob Type: Contract through the end of September 2025Overview: Our client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Strategy Lead to join the team. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of programs related to the Procurement Value Plan with in Financial Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects, managing the PMO, and executing programs to ensure the delivery of supply chain value. This is an interim backfill position within the Procurement Client Team.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the delivery of programs in relation to the Procurement Value Plan.Oversee project management and PMO activities to ensure successful execution of programs.Engage with stakeholders to manage relationships and ensure alignment with project goals.Execute tasks and programs of work in line with quality standards and timescales.Support Tier 1 investment bank clients and their back-office teams with operational aspects of banking activities and trade processing.Skills and Qualifications:Graduate or undergraduate degree in finance, business, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking operations.Strong project management and PMO skills.Proven experience in program execution and supply chain value delivery.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Technologically adept with a strong understanding of financial instruments.Good communication skills and the ability to lead conversations and execute queries.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a Tier 1 investment bank or similar environment.Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).What We Offer:Competitive hourly wage and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a leading investment bank and its back-office teams.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter to
