Yari Capital's financial planning approach is disrupting the wealth management industry, and we are hiring a wealth planner to be our clients' trusted advisor across all topics related to investments and financial planning. A candidate should be an effective communicator with significant experience in client-facing financial planning. If you're analytical, meticulous, client-aligned, and want to work for an innovative, mission-oriented firm, we would like to meet this role you will:Gain a deep understanding of our clients' unique needs and aspirations to confidently advise them on their financial goalsHelp craft custom investment portfolios using Yari Capital's activepassive index-based investment philosophyBe responsible for maintaining a book of businessBuild and deepen your knowledge and skillset by maintaining an in-depth understanding of financial planning and the investment marketsContinue to develop and refine your craft of financial planningBe an active part of a collaborative teamResponsibilities:Analyze clients' financial situations (e.g. balance sheets, income, and expenses)Examine and identify financial planning opportunities (e.g. investments, tax, estate planning, risk management, etc.)Develop sound financial plans for clientsCustomize financial plans according to clients' changing needsHelp clients implement their plans and execute transactionsAssist in sales presentations to prospective clientsBuild strong relationships to retain existing clientsMaintain updated knowledge of regulations, best practices, and financial productsImplement initial and subsequent asset allocation tradesExecute buy or sell orders and re-balance orders in Envestnet; maintain an appropriate asset allocationFollow up with clients following any meeting to initiate investment-related recommended or necessary action itemsSkills:CFP, CFA, CPA, or JD requiredPreference for candidates with additional credentialsdegrees (i.e., CFA, CPA, JDLLM, etc.)Minimum five years client-facing experience, preference for more tenured professionalExcellent communication skills - both written and verbalExceptional investment acumen and knowledge of broad range of planning topicsAbility to analyze financial information and comply with regulationsStrong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitudeAbility to foster long-term client relationshipsExperience with Envestnet2, Y-Charts, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, and financial planning softwareCompensation:We have a highly competitive salary, bonus, and benefit plan, with equity in the firm available within 5 years.Starting salary is dependent on experience but cash compensation will exceed $150,000 within 24 months of onboardingOur employees experience significant increases in compensation and responsibility
