Title: Recruitment CoordinatorJob Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Hybrid: 1-2 days in-office weekly)Location: Chicago, ILCompensation: $31 - $35.50hourJob SummaryAre you looking to launch or grow your career in HR and recruiting? Our client is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator for a 6-month contract position with the potential to convert permanently. In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and internal recruiting teams, playing a key part in driving the hiring process and managing candidate pipelines. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, intellectually curious, and excited to learn.ResponsibilitiesInterview Coordination: Schedule phone, video, and in-person interviews, working with candidates, recruiters, and executive assistants.Candidate Management: Track candidates in the applicant tracking system (Workday) and provide timely updates to recruiters and hiring teams.Feedback Management: Liaise with hiring teams to gather interview feedback and determine next steps for candidates.Process Improvement: Create and maintain candidate trackers, streamline communication processes, and suggest enhancements for efficiency.Project Support: Assist with intern programs, entry-level hiring initiatives, and other HRrecruiting projects.Onboarding Assistance: Support the pre-onboarding process, including preparing offer letters and coordinating with candidates.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required.Experience:1+ years of professional experience, preferably in HR or recruiting, OR strong campus involvement (e.g., student organizations, athletics).Previous internship or full-time experience in a professional environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred).
