Case Management Paralegal (Plaintiff's Asbestos Litigation) - New York, New YorkLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Case Management Paralegal with experience in Plaintiff's Asbestos Litigation and familiarity with catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. The ideal Candidate will be able to handle cases from inception to trial and will primarily support trial attorneys as well as conduct legal research and writing to support legal proceedings and have a least 3 years of litigation experience. The candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.ResponsibilitiesReview and draft routine legal documents and conduct legal researchCreate and maintain case files and be able to handle cases from inception to trialMaintain attorney and Court CalendarDocket as neededE-file documents in state and federal courts as needed (NY and NJ is a plus)Assist and meet with clients and maintain valued relationshipsFacilitate organization strategies to meet attorney deadlines efficientlyParticipate in fact investigation and the negotiation of legal disputesAdhere to state and federal compliance regulationslaws while maintaining the proper storage and confidentiality of client informationQualificationsRecent experience as a Litigation Paralegal and be knowledgeable in Plaintiff's Asbestos Litigation, Toxic Tort, Catastrophic Injury and Wrongful Death mattersBachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate (commensurate Paralegal experience)Excellent Written and Oral skills and must be an effective communicatorKnowledge of standard MS Office Suite and Legal Research Search EnginesBenefitsThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
