Director Debt Capital Markets - TMT Coverage

Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit an experienced debt capital markets investment banker (Director level) to lead new business development and revenue generating relationship management with large-cap leveraged and investment grade TMT bond issuers in North America.Responsibilities:Lead new business development and revenue generating relationship management with large-cap leveraged and investment grade TMT bond issuers in North AmericaDevelop revenue generating relationships with C-level corporate borrowers and debt issuers in the TMT sectorDevelop relationships that lead to client retention and long-term market penetrationMeet and exceed financial and strategic objectives set by group headCollaborate closely with credit, analytics, marketing and sales to execute consistent commercial revenue growth strategyPursue and close new business and actively participate in client engagement activities (i.e., client visits, marketing presentations, etc.)Educate clients on the competitive advantages the firm's research and analysis offersGather and analyze client feedback and utilize results to hone client marketing strategyAnalyze global industry trends and produce actionable market intelligenceWork closely with colleagues to achieve group revenue goalsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree10 years' corporate or investment banking relationship management, leveraged finance, capital markets or syndicate banking experienceDemonstrated relationships with leveraged andor investment grade debt issuers and corporate borrowers in the TMT sectorBroad knowledge of the TMT sectorRelationship account management client coverage experienceBroad knowledge of corporate debt capital markets deal processStrong client-facing relationship management and negotiating skillsAbility to communicate strategic initiatives, identify customer needs, create actionable solutions and influence internal and external stakeholdersUS travel required
