Paul Wilmot Communications is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Public Relations Senior Account Executive to join its thriving Fashion team, which works with both men's and women's fashion and accessories brands. The ideal candidate will lead media strategy with a focus on brand launches, features, product placement, executive profiles, strategic brand partnerships and influencer engagement. Founded in New York City 1997 with a new office that opened in Nashville in 2022, Paul Wilmot Communications has produced a significant public relations track record drawing from the highest profile fashion houses, beauty and wellness brands, retailer and e-comm powerhouses, as well as hospitality, spirits, non-profit, cannabis and luxury lifestyle clientele. By cross-promoting within our divisions, PWC offers our clients access to new markets, thought leadership and increased visibility.The ideal candidate for the Senior Account Executive role will possess a breadth of experience across men's and women's fashion and accessories clientele with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in this area. This candidate will have a track record of securing comprehensive media results with an established network of media contacts relevant to the client work, while demonstrating the ability to negotiate and secure features, executive profiles, product placement, event coverage and more. This candidate will also have superior knowledge of social media platforms, affiliate marketing strategy, relevant influencers, and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate on a professional level with top level executives.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to strategize, execute, and manage media relations campaigns across all lifestyle division clientele, encompassing design, travel, spirits, food & beverage, lifestyle, and business mediaHandle majority of all pitching for the client - including strategizing on larger scale editorial opportunities; continually update and monitor status reports to ensure pitching efforts on track with the support of a JAE and AssistantResearch potential partnership opportunities and arrange meetings with strategic partners (including, but not limited to likeminded brand partners, speaking engagement opportunities, panels, summits, etc.)Attend virtual & in person client meetings equipped with pertinent updates and new ideasUphold a strong understanding of social media and influencers and their overall importance to lifestyle brandsSeek out, coordinate and handle desk side appointments, tastings, press previewsEvent production experience (RSVPs, Run of Show, Photography shot lists, Staffing Plans)Fashion Week and FOH event production experienceA strong understanding of media reporting for a specific brand and its commercial initiatives using Muckrack, Cision, etc.Contribute to bi-annual PR plans for all lifestyle clients including new, buzz-worthy ideasSupport on workflow, deadlines, budgets, and resources (both team and dollars) for selected accounts QUALIFICATIONS:5-7 years' experience requiredEstablished roster of relevant media contacts across trade and consumer pressDemonstrated track record of executing brand and product launches, fashion shows, presentations & previews, pop ups, retail events and press tripsFashion Week and FOH event production experienceAbility to be a team player in an environment that requires and rewards collaborationBABS RequiredAbility to implement strategy and has an enthusiasm to present learnings proactivelyKnowledge of Watch and Jewelry, Accessory and Fashion Industry a plusThe hiring compensation for this position ranges from $70,000-$80,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
