The family-owned fashion house is renowned for its rarefied and innovative double-face fabrics, for pushing the boundaries of St Gallen embroidery and pioneering digital photo printing techniques.Position Summary:As the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and efficiencies. Streamlining and improving store processes that positively impact the associate and client experience. In this role you will report to the Boutique Director Meet or exceed all operational goals & kpi's set fourth by Corporate Ensure all shipments, transfers, ecommerce orders and returns are processed correctly daily and in a timely mannerPartner with Store Director to execute day to day operational tasks Analyze operations processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement as needed to increase efficiency in the storeCommunicate and explain any operations directives to the selling team and delegate appropriate tasks concerning upkeep of the store and the inventory levelsProvide consistency of monitoring stock levels daily, lead monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory ensuring they are executed effectively and as per company's standards Manage all supplies ordering and administrative functions regarding store operations Ensure the store is always clean, all lights or other equipment are always fully operationalEnsure all closing and opening procedures are completed in timely manner and assist in POS closing when neededEnsure communication with the corporate office is completed effectively and in the partnership with the Store Director Assist the selling team when needed on the floor with merchandise, effective floor supervision and processing client payments Desired ExperienceExcellent organizational and communication skills with team and clientsStrong attention to details with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precisionIntellectual curiosity and passion for learningAnalyzes the business and take business driving actionsAbility to move or handle merchandise and boxes, generally weighing 0-40 poundsCan work a flexible schedule, that includes evenings weekends and holidays ensuring that the store is always fully operational Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 40-hour work weekProficient in Microsoft Office, POS, CRM & Inventory Management systems3+ years of Retail Management or Operations Management experienceAt Akris inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
