Job Summary It is an exciting time to join Broan-NuTone and Madison Air as it's all about growth. The Director of Finance is the key strategic and capital allocation partner for Kitchen Ventilation (KV) and ApplianceOEM channels representing ~$200M+ of ~$900M business. This leader plays a key role in value creation rooted in ownership of financial statement analysis, quarterly financial forecasting, annual and long-range business growth planning. The leader will partner with the VP, & GM for capital allocation decisions including New Product Development, pricing strategy & execution, cost-saving projects, 8020 analysis, working capital management (e.g. Inventory investments), and optimization of manufacturing strategy (e.g. landed costs (freight, material), makebuy, etc.)We are looking for a high potential candidate to join and grow with us at Broan-NuTone and across Madison Air. Strong performance in role will set up this leader for CFO succession planning.Job ResponsibilitiesMonthly review of financial statements to identify risks and opportunities to financial plans (top line, margin improvement and cash generation).Annual Budget: Support budget and forecast activities including orders, sales, SG&A management, cost productivity for the KV segment, OEM & Appliance sales channels.NPD: Critical partner for segment marketing teams for New Product Development. This includes reviewing the product roadmap of the portfolio, building investment business cases and ensuring the capital resources are allocated to the best investments across the global portfolio.Cost Savings: Lead analysis for cost savings projects, holding team accountable to deliver resultsCustomer and product margins: Through an 8020 lens, complete quarterly review of margins for both customers and products to identify low performers and improvement areas8020: Lead segment and channel 8020 process including quad analysis, tracking of obsolete inventory, recommending pricing changes and identifying low volume products or customers that may be applicable for 8020 ventory: Champion business drive to 60 DIO target - Provide weekly analysis of segment inventory, identify areas of excess and drive cross-functional inventory actions. Own quarterly excess & obsolete process across KV including root cause and learnings into NPD and operations planning processes.Job Requirements & CompetenciesMinimum of ten years of experience in the accounting or finance field.Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. MBA and CPA preferred but not required.Ability to be a partner across functions and locations. This includes the ability to challenge and be challenged by peers and other segment leaders to drive to the best conclusions.Possess drive and motivation for continuous improvement and a critical focus on details.Clear, concise and timely communications, written and verbal, are required.Analytical skills that allow you to see the big picture while also being comfortable jumping into the details as needed.Leadership, time management, and project management skillsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle ambiguity to solve issues that they are not familiar with nor receive little direction on how to handle.Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.Ability to travel up to 25% including international travel.8020 performance management experience
