Mold Mechanic I PA

Our light industrial facility in West Lampeter Township has 200 employees committed to living our values of Care, Challenge, Commit, Change, and Create.The objective of the Mold Mechanic is to assist and support the mold shop activities as it relates to mold preparation, mold maintenance, and mold repair.The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3PM.  There are also mandatory weekends once a month. ResponsibilitiesPerform task assigned by Machinist Lead.Moves injection molds around the facility as required by the toolroom and production departments.Disassembly of injection molds, cleaning, changeover of components, and reassembly of the mold when completedElectrical checks of mold heaters and thermocouples.Water pressure checks of plete mold and equipment work orders using computerized mold repair plete monthly inventory check on molding components using L2L database.Maintains housekeeping and cleanliness of the toolroom department as instructed by management.Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action.Other miscellaneous dutes as assigned.QualificationsEducation, Experience, Certifications:Understanding of machining principles, preferred.High school diploma, petencies, Skills, Knowledge:Fundamental understanding of injection molding.Thorough understanding of mold construction and mold maintenance principles.Must demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude.Excellent communication and documentation.Physical requirements as defined in associated job analysis.Travel, other requirements:Travel may be required for training.Rotating weekend schedule.EEOStryten Energy is an equal opportunity employer where an applicant's qualifications are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other basis prohibited by law.About Our CompanyStryten Energy helps solve the world's most pressing energy challenges with a broad range of energy storage solutions across the Essential Power, Motive Power, Transportation, Military and Government sectors.
