Cisco is Seeking a ProjectProgram Event Manager in San Jose!Job Title: ProjectProgramEvent ManagerPay Rate: $50.00 per hrDuration: Estimated 02032025 - 04262025Location: Bay Area, California (Remote with 1-3 onsite days per month in the San Jose office)Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled ProjectProgramEvent Manager to oversee planning, execution, and post-event evaluations for key organizational initiatives. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of events that align with organizational objectives while fostering community engagement.Key Responsibilities:Event Planning & Coordination:Develop comprehensive project plans for events, including timelines, deliverables, and anize logistics, such as conference room bookings, catering, audiovisual setups, and collaboration tools.Manage invitation lists, track confirmed attendees, and send reminders via email and Webex.Event Promotion & Execution:Create marketing materials and strategies to increase organizational participation.Capture photos and post them to a designated SharePoint site.Solicit internal and external speakers for events.Build and manage volunteer communities for onsite event support.Metrics & Reporting:Track attendance, conduct surveys, and compile key performance metrics munity Engagement & Communication:Develop and post social media content for the SBG WIT Program, aligning with Cisco Enterprise Inclusive Community campaigns.Maintain and engage Webex spaces, sending reminders, collecting photos, and fostering excitement around events.Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools.Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while escalating issues when necessary.Proven experience in project and event management.Desired Attributes:Creative thinker with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Enthusiastic about fostering inclusivity and building community.Detail-oriented with the ability to track and analyze metrics effectively.Pay Details: $50.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
