Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Insight Global is looking for an Engineer of Record to join the team of power engineering consulting firm in New York City. This individual will support the quality assurance quality control of mechanical designs for their overall retrofit programs across the NYC metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC design as well as QAQC experience. This individual will review, sign and seal drawings and specifications from the engineering department to the respective state jurisdiction. This individual will ensure that the provided drawings are in compliance to applicable codes and standards.Must-Haves:BSMS in Mechanical Engineering NYS PE License 5+ years of experience in designing and reviewing MEP projects (ideally with mechanical retrofit projects) Experience working in compliance with NYC and NYS building codes Strong communication, technical, and management skillsNice-To-Haves:Experience supporting municipal and government agencies including but not limited to: DASNY, CUNY, MTA, OGS and other NYS agenciesCompensation: $160,000Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
