Elsewhere Partners is seeking an intelligent, motivated Analyst with a strong interest in private equity and enterprise software to drive the firm's investment sourcing efforts. Based in Austin, TX, this role focuses on researching, identifying, and engaging high-quality software companies to create investment opportunities. The position begins mid-2025.Responsibilities  Conduct thematic and sector-focused research to identify software companies with strong potential as investment opportunities for ElsewhereCoordinate tactics for engaging with prospects and lead strategic outreach efforts on behalf of the firmCollaborate with senior investment team members in creating thesis-driven analyses of specific markets, and lead the subsequent prospect identification, outreach, and relationship development efforts Provide market and financial diligence support for live opportunities, including overview of key market trends and competitive analysisManage Elsewhere's investment sourcing technology stack, including CRM and research databases  Ensure effective and efficient reporting on key pipeline metrics  Qualifications0-2 years of professional or relevant internship experience in investingfinance, private equity, venture capital, consulting, marketing, or software sales.Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with a strong academic terest in or knowledge of the enterprise software industry.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and research skills.Experience with tools like Excel, Salesforce, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Looker).Self-starter capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.Collaborative team player who thrives on shared success.
