Job SummaryThe Inside Sales Account Manager - Eastern United States is responsible for developing and executing Sales and Marketing strategies to grow the company's commercial AV business in the region. The Inside Sales Account Manager will own the responsibility of helping to achieve the pre-determined target revenue goals for the region. This includes identifying and qualifying new customers, developing proposals, and closing deals. Additionally, the Inside Sales Account Manager will assist and support relationships with territory Distributor's and Manufacturing rep firms as needed. This includes assisting, managing and training partner sales teams. The Inside Sales Account Manager will own the relationship with new and existing customers and business partners and will be responsible for the day-to-day management, communication, and general support of those customers and partners. This will include marketing initiatives, long-term project development and sales growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, as well as a strong understanding of the AV industry.The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a strong passion for sales. You will be responsible for managing and growing assigned key accounts. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development strategies for the region both sales and marketingIdentify and qualify new customersDevelop proposals and close dealsDevelop and grow relationships with distribution and rep partnersProcess sales orders and coordinate order status with customersBuild relationships with key decision-makers in the AV industryStay up to date on industry trends and developmentsRepresent the company at industry events and conferencesTrack and report on sales and marketing performanceUnderstanding the needs and requirements of prospective buyers and assigning opportunities to sales executives for further developmentWork within allotted travel, sales and marketing budgetsOwn the end-to-end sales cycle: advance sales opportunities from qualified leads to closed revenueMaintain a comprehensive record of sales actions within CRM systemWork cross-functionally to ensure full customer service and improve sell-side opportunitiesCompetenciesStrong sales and negotiation skillsStrong phone presenceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong listening and presentation skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProject management skills including planning, reviews, and risk managementKnowledge of industrial standards (CE, UL, etc.)Must be highly detail orientedMust be a self-starter, and have the ability to multi-taskExperience working with external vendors and subcontractorsExperience reviewing schematics and troubleshooting common hardware issuesStrong analytical capabilities to provide both strategic and short-term solutionsEffective at multi-tasking and managing multiple prioritiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to communicate and work effectively as a project team memberAbility to respond to technical inquiries from customers· Legal authority to work in the United States is requiredRequired Education and ExperienceProven inside sales experienceBachelor's degree in business or a related field sales experience4+ years of experience in sales development, preferably in the AV industryPosition TypeExpected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time field saleswork remote position, 8am-5pm or similar is typical. Local and National travel may be required. Territory is Eastern United States. Position must be based out of the company headquarters in Dallas Texas.
