Trading Operations Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Trading Operations Engineer to become a key member of our strategy development team. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional technical support to traders and developers, while ensuring that our trading operations run smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting proprietary trading softwareKeep users informed about incident progress and resolutions in a clear, timely mannerMonitor and assess trading system performance, identifying and addressing potential problemsMaintain application and system reliability and availability during market hoursDesign and implement automation tools and scripts to optimize operationsConduct thorough analysis of complex systems to uncover underlying issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new features and enhancements that improve performance, reliability, and scalability of trading systemsRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field3+ years of experience in application support, site reliability engineering, or similar roles involving high-performance applicationsProven experience with Kubernetes in a production environment is essentialStrong programming skills, with proficiency in Python and BashExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is highly desirableFamiliarity with CentOS or Ubuntu is a bonusIndependent, self-motivated, with a deep passion for technology and problem-solvingCollaborative team player with excellent communication skills
