This in-office role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional to optimize inventory control, manage procurement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Our culture values growth, ownership, and teamwork, ensuring that every team member has the tools and opportunities to succeed and lead.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasingCreate purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely replenishment of stock.Source, onboard, and develop new vendors to meet procurement goals.Maintain strong vendor relationships by following up on POs, requesting quotes, and resolving issues.Develop sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency and vendor reliability.Lead vendor communication efforts, including quotation requests and performance evaluations.Run weekly (or greater if needed) re-order analysis.Continuously improve the systems that drive our purchasing and shipping.Vendor DevelopmentIdentify and onboard new vendors to support production and inventory needs.Strengthen vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Track and evaluate vendor performance using metrics.Develop vendor and supplier score cards and iterate vendor relationships.Collaborate with vendors to optimize procurement strategies and achieve production goals.Work with engineering on strategic re-sourcing projects designed to drive down cost of goods sold.Own vendor relationships; drive excellent vendor relationships that become a strategic advantage for Onfloor's ability to source and deliver for our ventory ControlInvestigate and resolve inventory variances to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Record machine refurbishment activities and document adjustments.Create and process inventory adjustments in QuickBooks Enterprise (QB).Conduct item analysis to optimize stock levels and prevent disruptions.Generate reorder sheets and reports based on inventory trends and usage data.BOM ManagementCreate, review, and update Bills of Material (BOMs) in QuickBooks Enterprise.Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all BOMs are accurate and up-to-date.Request and track drawing changes from engineering.Set up and manage new items in QuickBooks Enterprise for seamless integration.Key QualificationsProficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise, particularly for inventory management and BOM creation.Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.Proven experience in procurement, inventory control, and vendor development.Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly with vendors and internal teams.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, in-office environment.You thrive in ambiguous situations and excel at bringing structure and clarity to high-level or broad requests. You can take a vision or commander's intent and translate it into a detailed tactical plan that you confidently execute.You are self-driven, proactive, and energized by taking initiative.
